Academic Calendar: Guiding Your Learning JourneyÂ
GNM Nursing Yearly Academic Plan
The GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) program follows a structured yearly academic plan designed to ensure a balanced blend of theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Each academic year is thoughtfully organized to progressively build the competencies required in nursing and midwifery. In the first year, students are introduced to the fundamentals of nursing, including Anatomy, Physiology, Microbiology, and Community Health Nursing, along with basic clinical skills. The second year focuses on specialized areas such as Medical-Surgical Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, and Child Health Nursing, supported by hands-on clinical training in hospitals. The third year emphasizes Midwifery and Gynecological Nursing, Community Health, and professional trends in nursing. The program concludes with a six-month internship, where students apply their learning in real-world healthcare settings under professional supervision. Throughout the course, students also participate in seminars, case studies, and health education programs, preparing them to deliver compassionate and competent care across various healthcare environments.
